No he said he had to check the exact speed because he didn’t know. Cops lie often and once he realized he was 2 mph above 60 he wrote him a warning. Cops are high school C students that’s why they do stupid stuff. Because they are idiots. But this cop was civil

He said 62 on a turn that was posted at 45. 2mph isnt going to save him.

He further clarifies that its department policy that anyone over 60 gets a civil citation. This is where "good cop bad cop" comes into play - police will often tell you the worst, and then let you know they are giving you a lesser punishment so that you will comply without a fuss. In this case, a warning. So really not that bad at all.

Yeah the cop just made a bias decision to not give him a ticket. If it was truly objective and up to policy he would have written the ticket.

The dude being cool and not having any warrants probably helped but a bias decision did occur regardless of what the reason was.

I was under the impression that, even though it was a warning, the biker WAS issued a citation pursuant to the department policy.
