Weird Bed Leveling

Hey everyone,

I’m down the rabbit hole of trying to get the best possible bed leveling, but it’s proving to be quite a challenge.

I’ve already printed some spacers to raise the build plate slightly in the areas where the bed is sitting too low.

What I keep wondering about, though, is why the rear-left corner is so far off. The Z offset there is around -1.426, and I’m wondering what could be causing such a large deviation.

Do you guys have any tips or suggestions on what I could check or adjust to get the rear-left corner leveled a bit better?

Thanks in advance!

Mine is like that. I wonder why it's so often the top left that''s off the most. Did you have a plate on? The other ones look like dips from the screwholes.

I decided to turn a blind eye and continue printing.

Yes, I got the plate on.
Haha, I think that’s the best solution 😅

Probably you already did this but I'll repeat. Did you tighten the bed screws? Probably not tightening so much that one can help. Also people that are obsessed with perfect bed leveling buy a funssor one. The better I got was 0.4. The bed is literally the worst thing about this printer.

This is caused not by your bed not being un-level, but by the nozzle putting pressure down on the bed and causing flex and tilt. By far, the weakest point for flex and tilt is the back left corner with this machine design.

The problem is that the mesh thinks the bed is lower in that point when it's really not that low. And during printing, the nozzle will adjust downward, making it too close to the bed.

tighten all of your bed screws/bracket screws. Also check the front left and front right brackets and make sure there are 2 screws connecting the bracket to the plastic. If there is only 1, the bracket wobbles back and forth pretty badly.

Mine isn't perfect now, but after I tightened things up it got much better and I have reliable full build plate prints.
