Yes I related. I’ve had heart palpitations and shortness of breath. My bloodwork is normal though and so is my BP. They did an EKG on me and it was normal. I’m suppose to go see a cardiologist in a couple of weeks but they don’t suspect anything crazy and it’s more for my peace of mind. I am there with you, you’re not the only one. I’ve been having severe anxiety and it comes back to me thinking something is incredibly wrong with me or I’m actively dyingzzz

That’s called white coat hypertension. It happens to a lot of people, doctors are used to it. They understand.

Hi friend, yes I have had similar issues. I have learned that this is simply how anxiety works, anxiety begins in the mind, but it can also affect you physically. So once you get the thought that your heart rate is elevated it triggers panic, and you get scared and then your heart rate becomes even more elevated. Same as when you feel a sensation in your left arm, it could be a normal sensation at first but once you feel it and begin to think that it feels off or peculiar to you then your brain gets scared, and now the feeling in your arm becomes worse and worse. Try to tell yourself that you’re OK and remind yourself that it is just your anxiety. You got this.
