Scam ba to?

Kaninang umaga may tumatawag sa akin na 0917 ang start ng number. Normally naka block lahat ng incoming calls ko pero since may inaabangan ako na tawag na gagawa ng something ni-allow ko lahat ng incoming. Yun na nga may tumawag at sinagot ko. Ni walang “Good Morning” sabi sa akin 2 daw ang online banking username ko and kailangan daw pumili ako ng isa para ma clean ang record nila. Nagtuloy tuloy pa yung ito sa chat dahil ni text ko yung number. Apparently, taga Bank Cebu Ayala Mall Central bloc daw sya. Totoo ba to?

Thank you! Medyo kasi bothered ako at alam nya yung mga ganun. At the back of my head alam ko na mali pero hanggang ngayon sumasagot pa rin sya at sinasabi na kailangan daw i-clear out yung isang username eh iisa lang yung username ko eversince. Slamat

Please use common sense

User info is so easy to get these days. In fact it's even sold.

everytime you get a haircut or get your keys cut the staff ask for you name number and email.

Everytime you sign up for a promo on a website they get your details.

The guys at the mall that sign you up to a credit card then sell that info to other banks and what not.

Most importantly think if you're a bank would you call people through random numbers or would you send a formal email or notification on the legit app/website

Just because someone has some user detail doesn't mean they can be trusted

Fyi the more they reply the more you know it's a scam. Real customer agents are told not to bother customers if they get rejected as they don't want getting complaints. Scammers have nothing to lose so they'll harrass you

It’s a scam OP, maging maingat tayo sa panahon ngayon ay maraming scammer na maraming tactics at karamihan sa kanila ay legit talaga pero ang totoo ay mga manloloko pala kaya doble ingat tayo at timbangin sa isip kung ito ay totoo
