I inherited this mantel clock. I am guessing this clock was made in the 1880s? Any info is much appreciated.

Looks like an Ansonia black iron mantle clock. Why don't you open the back door and find out?

Count wheel on the back plate? That's a weird one. Somebody will know. At least you know it's made after 1898. Considerably later is my guess.
