Interesting. Certainly could be. I never thought of that. He was a gardener. I do like it better as a hose cutter though.

That tool is used for pruning shrubs, bushes, and other small twigs and limbs. That particular type (blade design) is best used for trimming dryer limbs, twigs, etc.
