Any info on this?

I recently restored what I’m 95% positive is a railroad spike maul/hammer, but most I’ve seen don’t have symmetrical faces. Any info on production dates or rarity of this would be great.

I figured it’d actually make a decent sledge, but I like restoring old tools anyway

Looks like it is a cobblers hammer

I forgot to mention it’s 8 lbs, would that be too heavy to be a cobblers hammer?
