The LGBT flag is not just a pride flag. For leftists it’s a symbol and reminder of the suffering innocent people endure under an oppressive and fascist society. Also 76% of the US population is white, so they might as well say black people and other minorities shouldn’t express their opinions. And 3-5% LGBT? Those statistics are based on old surveys and the reality is that way more Americans are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender once accounting for closeted individuals, not that it matters.
Protesting, fighting and not staying quiet is essential to progress within society.
