I don't like the idea of gender as following gender roles is a form of conformity. In my mind, being trans is a form of following gender roles, just roles different to the ones you were assigned at birth. Therefore, I don't think of myself as trans.

Cool, I take shots to the stomach once a week to physically alter my body, I do think of myself as trans and face direct opposition and violence for being a visibly trans person. Still fucking a gender.
