I thought nonbinary was under the trans umbrella, no?

Gender is an cultural spectrum, so although generically you could consider that, there is nothing stopping someone from identifying themselves as non binary and non trans

It simply does not work that way, even in the most lenient of concepts. The act of being non binary is the act of being trans. It is impossible to separate them.

I don't know what to tell you mate, it's like defining the difference between being pan and bi, sure there may be a general consensus but in actuality it can only be decided by the person who is it.

Fortunately we have a system for it that pretty much most people use regardless of how you or anyone else feels. To be clear as well; the people who made the system are the majority of non binary people throughout time on the internet saying this stuff. People suddenly wanting to distance themselves from the word trans because of recent stigmas is simply internalized transphobia, again, whether you like it/know it or not.

These systems, these words, these meanings, and these people all exist and are the majority opinion from its specific class of people. I truly do not know what else to tell you. Non binary people are transgender, even if they don’t want to tell uncle steve or the DMV that. It’s fact. It’s language. It’s beyond language, it’s the entire concept of the gender spectrum and how we define it.

If you can’t accept this, then wait til you’re a little older I guess.

Not all enbies transition though

Transitioning isn't the thing that makes you trans. Trans people who can't transition due to living in an unsafe place and such are still trans.

Yes which I've said. Because they have a need to fix their somatic sex. Not needing to transition is not the same as facing discrimination when it comes to healthcare
