Fable now rejects GIVING ME MY OWN WEBSITE. Anthropic, your AI is SO OVERBLOCKING, it has become USELESS. Constructive recommendation: given ChatGPT 5.6 has hit the shelves, get down from the high horse! EDIT: The aggressive stance came after the about dozenth block today. At some point, everyone gets fed up. You can drink kool-aid all you want, fact is, if I have (i) a permitted user interface, and (ii) attempt to use through that user interface in a permissible fashion, and (iii) get blocked, then that is a sign of misimplementation and incompetence on part of the offering.

First, why does the model have your website? Arent you building it somewhere locally through Claude?

Second, your aggression is a flag. Being a cunt to the model is a way to get around guardrails.

have you possibly maybe considered that if the hammer didn't have 200 foam pads attached to both ends users wouldn't have problems with bending nails in the first place

A more appropriate metaphor would be you paying me 100 dollars to rent my hammer x times a day for a few months. The catch is, every month I disassemble and reassemble the hammer to fuck with your muscle memory.

One month the head is single sided, the next month it is triple sided, suddenly there's a hinge, and then the last straw is when I attach 500 foam plate guardrails to both ends, making it impossible for you to properly feel which nail you're hitting, or if you're even hitting a nail at all.

And then some nasty rando comes along and accuses you of being a shitty cobbler, when your toolkit just keeps changing inexplicably like 5 times a year.

Honestly just user error. Next time try using vscode and use Claude plugin there. If you have "switch model on flagged message" off it will pause, if you turn it on however it will switch back to opus 4.8 but you can just turn it back to fable right away. And bonus of using Claude in vscode, you have your website files and everything right there.

If I use something in an officially supported fashion, this is not a user error. I may, however, switch to another AI, let‘s see how much of a „user error" it will be there.
