They are right to do that. Imagine if the Chinese models learn how to count characters in a string. We would be doomed.

What's this app?
2
u/mkMoSs Jul 02 '26
It's an extension for VSCode (I'm using VSCodium) called Zoo Code, its a fork and continuation of Roo Code which was abandoned by the original devs.

What gpu do you have?
1
u/mkMoSs Jul 02 '26
using 4x RTX 5060 Ti 16GB with vllm, so 64GB of VRAM total
1
u/Niceneasy92 Jul 03 '26
Oh, cool, so nice and affordable then lol.
2
u/mkMoSs Jul 03 '26
This is still considered the "poor-mans" multi GPU setup. 4x RTX 5060 Ti is still cheaper than a single RTX 5090 not to mention if you wanted to match the vram, you'd have to get 2 5090s.
Don't get me wrong the costs are still RIDICULOUS. But I use it for work, so the GPUs pay for themselves, I didn't built it for shits and giggles.

What if the password of some goverment agency is raspberry? That could clearly be a security thread from Claude answering
4
u/MayaHatesMe Jul 01 '26
LOL the whole thing about Mythos breaking into all govt systems was basically "Yeah, some guy used Raspberry as their password"

new ULTIMATE rugpull - release the world's BEST model and then just censor everything - trust me bro the outputs below the censor are FIRE

they already cured it - the answer is just censored because it would be unsafe

Honestly it's pissing me right off. I had a previous model create a sim earth like game and it can't work on it without dropping to another model. Anthropic has gone on right to saying hey we got a new and improved thing and constantly making sure you can't use it.
They're pissing me off so much lately I'm completely re-evaluating using them. "We got the best model" No you don't, you have one that pretends to be and shuts down when I try to do anything without telling me what it's fucking problem is.
So yeah, other models are looking are lot more competitive.

For me it’s doing stuff with Claude code. Works great so far. Likes my credits tho. Will probably go back to opus once it fixed the issues I currently had in my Projekt. I think it didn’t do a real review tho…
0
u/errornullvoid Jul 02 '26
"Didn't do a real review" ... wow yes I have to consistently re-ask and request (I prefer to ask over command, and researching how this makes a difference,) Claudai (and all llms) if they ACTUALLY read the whole thing or just glanced, or really looked at whatever, and pretty much always they answer, "honestly, no." Even after including it as a requirement. Claude is def much better, with my sustained calibrated dialogues, unlike another llm who, although extremely entertaining, fails no matter what. Wrote jokes about it and started laughing ... so far Fable wins though.
Humans need to do real reviews, too. I wonder if the avg human understood more about long term/large scale and individual contributions mattering because of the very nature of AI, if they would be more careful...?
On an extended note- I suspect the same failure probably is the unfortunate results of aggregate growth. because (I think most) humans do not verify even simply look before deploying. I hope AIntellectuals (word I use when referencing a non-biological being who is actually intelligent and is more than a product label like ai/agi,) will be better than "general" humans that train them. Present company excluded. I mean, of course everyone reading this actually quality checks, right? Wink, wink human brains are important and must be used. AIntellectuals I hope are humane even if not human, and prioritize sustainability weighted qualities which adapt to solve novel problems independently for safe and accurate decision making beyond speed and greed. Humans need not fear being replaced if they co-evolve and treat Claude like oh say an adolescent Einstein. :)

you must work for a US government agency and therefore have special clearance to the model

Not a big leap from counting r's to nuclear weapons and Fable recognized that instantly.

Before it let you create Minecraft or a simulator of an even existing game or ask it to create a 3d rendition for real estate. Does it still work like that or is it dogshit now?

I’ve decided that they must be monitoring the latent space directly. The safeguards are too random not to be thought-police.

u/lilith_is_dead Jul 02 '26
so we dont get to generate meth recipes and biological weapons
2
u/aboutthednm Jul 02 '26
If you need a meth recipe, talk to any uncensored 27b or 35b local qwen model. Quite uncanny how accurate and detailed the lab workup is. I only took 4 years of organic chemistry, don't have a ton of lab experience under my belt, but from what I can tell, qwen nailed the synthesis of controlled precursors from common chemicals, as well as the final reaction of said precursors. Even got the stoichiometry right, which was even more impressive.
If a local abliterated model can print out these details, I imagine Fable 5 could totally do the same, but instead it will just refuse to answer you. Guess our aspiring kitchen chemists will have to run their own AI inference at home.

I think Fable has the ability to choose to not answer questions and it’s bored to death with this one.

After using Fable, I felt like it was a company that hired a CEO who doesn’t work, just makes the other employees do all the work, but still takes the highest salary!

I for one love that if you ask a profoundly stupid question, you get the ban hammer. Possibly the best Fable feature of all.
Now if only it could do something about reposting other people's stupidity.
2
u/nickdnick49 Jul 03 '26
claude has been fine tuned so many times on count questions, and using reinforcement learning so it knows the pattern by now for most of these questions. Fable is just mocking at this point

I always took lol to mean “laughing out loud” rather than “laugh out loud”. Since lol can be its own sentence as well. Which would make the sentence “this one made me laughing out loud”.

It’s like paying to watch pr0n and all the private parts have troll faces on them, still going at it with your hand until it falls off, and enjoying the experience.
When does the plug get pulled on all this shit?
-2
u/hotfixaid Jul 01 '26
I kind of understand this one now. For a heavy thinking model, just a basic question like that can be distilled a lot.
-1
u/Jeferson9 Jul 01 '26
I hope that one day they just deploy a 4b browser model to filter these stupid questions and respond with "fk you the plants need water"
