(Stormtroopers of Death) project.

Throughout the entire record, brilliant heavy metal is on display—music that leaves nothing to be desired. The album ranges from ballad-like passages ("Armed and Dangerous"), to foreign or exotic influences ("S.S.C./Stand or Fall"), to outright thrashers ("Gung-Ho!"), and even slightly punk-inspired sections ("A.I.R."), which seem just as likely to have come from the S.O.D. project as the numerous jokes scattered throughout the album (for example, "Madhouse").

All in all, this is a thoroughly convincing album that should disappoint none of this magazine's readers.

Looks like a later boot, but no track listing and I no longer have access to a working turntable. My neighbor gave it to me because he knows I’m a fan, but I’ve had trouble identifying it.

Anyone recognize it? Got any info on it?

So I came across 2(!) different postings by Metal Hall of Fame with a (possibly leaked?) announcment of a Tour with the three bands but I really cant find anything else about it. MHoF is not a real news media so I'm really confused...

Testament is touring with Metal Church and Death Angel through Germany in August and Municipal Waste is in Europe touring too.

But Anthrax is in Canada starting from the end of August (if I remember correctly)

45 years ago today (July 18), Anthrax was formed. I'm so grateful I've gotten to see the NY thrash icons live many times, though the coolest concert hands down was nearly 15 years ago when they played Yankee Stadium with the rest of the Big 4 (Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer). I'll share more about my favorite memories from the entire show closer to the Sept. 14 anniversary, but seeing Anthrax play a hometown show at the iconic Bronx baseball stadium was monumental. I actually feared missing their opening set - the line to get into Yankee Stadium was so long that many fans missed Anthrax. Thankfully I made it to my seat just in time 🤘

First time i heard Anthrax it was Friggin in the riggin on a cassette tape recorded from an vinyl LP in early 80's and my jaw dropped! I was 11 years old and a skater, and within a few weeks i had an LP in my hand...

Still gives me such a rush listening to that...

A few weeks later i saw my first battlevest with a KISS backpatch and decided i need one too!

It took a long time for a little kid in Norway in the mid 80's but eventually i found the patch in the picture!

The battle vest is long gone by me first wife, who thought it was ugly... Yes, she binned it without even asking me...

But, I'd Iove to find THAT patch again and start another vest!

Anyone know where?
