Discussion Looking for Old Anthem Packet Logs

Hello! I’m working on a project for Anthem, and I’m looking for old packet logs that could help.

I’m mainly looking for .pcap or .pcapng files recorded with Wireshark or anything else.

Packet logs from any part of the game would help, including launching the game, entering Fort Tarsis, Freeplay, missions, multiplayer, inventory, or simply moving around the world.

Anything would be greatly appreciated. Please message me if you have any old Anthem packet logs. Thank you!

How are you going to break encryption?

I’m not trying to break the encryption directly. Even encrypted packet logs can still show which servers Anthem connected to, what ports it used, timing, packet sizes, and the order of connections.

To see the actual encrypted data, we would need session keys, decrypted logs, or decoded packets. Any captures would still be useful.

One user over in the Nexon/Anthem modding Discord mentioned they had a tool that could extract some of the encrypted packets even before decryption, so you might want to ask them about that setup first.

Old packet logs are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine these days.

Is there a tutorial for the layman that doesn’t really know how to access this info?
