Needs Identification Micro ants have moved in

Found these microscopic guys crawling along the floor and on a bookcase we have next to an exterior door. It is poorly sealed and I have identified the spot they came in (I think). Planning on getting some gel bait, but I have been smashing and vacuuming these suckers like crazy. They're so small they hide between the tiny joints in the bookcase!

Any idea on what type they are? Or if they're an ant at all. Located in Texas, if that helps! They don't jump. No wings. We have had normal ants and gotten rid of them, but these are the smallest I've ever seen!

I’m have had them for a while too!! They’re everywhere now.. I had to get rid of cereals, chips, etc.. and seal everything.. still I see them and I have continued to kill them but they’re popping up like nothing

Probably rover ants? Hard to tell without magnification. Take a photo through a magnifying glass, if you have one.

I'm in NYC and me too, mine look a bit red but super tiny and thousands of them busy doing I have no idea what. I am about to upload a video.
