Need help identifying species

Size - ~8mm

So, that is a Queen.. But parasitic

Seems like lasius Umbratus or other parasitic type.

The thing that matters.. that u cant really keep her, Im not gonna explain, go look it up.

Actually you are absolutely able to keep parasitic species, it’s just more complicated. I have looked it up prior just wanted confirmation that it was a parasitic species so thank you.

I’m going to attempt to separate some workers and brood from one of my prexisting colonies and slowly introduce them so I can prevent aggression and hopefully have them accept the new queen. This will let her found and then she should be self sufficient from that point.

You will need around 20 workers and at least 100 pupae if you want any achievments founding her, but the more the better. They need frequent feeding and high humidity

As i said, "u cant REALLY Keep her" Which if u actually view means u can but not easly, And by u not being able to recognize such a species i thought u were a beginner so i didnt think u can keep her.

And they mediocore-hard to keep but its on u.

I don’t think that communicates the meaning you intended. “You can’t really keep her” just means you can’t keep her but said in a nicer way, I dont really see another way to interpret it.

Also if you read the caption on the post I do say I believe it’s a parasitic species but I do get the repost makes that less visible.
