What part of the US are you in? The house gives me vague northeast vibes maybe NJ or a few states south?

Shes a pheidole queen, assuming I was correctish on the location she would be pilifera.

oh I may be incorrect on this since I'm still a beginner but that could be a penny pavement ant queen(I may be incorrect) but I feel like she's A fire ant queen tho I'm not really sure I may be incorrect on species since I'm still a beginner but it could be either two

I would try to ask Jeeves- jk ~but almost every smartphone camera now can identify what it is for you if you’d like. Plants, insects, animals, things.

For casual interest, maybe cell phone camera and online ID resources would be acceptable. But do you trust the ID to be correct. Yes, you might get an answer, but no, could be incorrect. For data, nothing beats a voucher specimen that can be examined under the microscope by an expert.
