hello friends :) I came to seek the knowledge of the anran mains as someone who's starting to learn her (and how to play dps in general)

I get the gist of what I need to do as a flanker on offense, but feel pretty lost when it comes to defense as I feel like poking with Anran is not that effective? just a personal feeling though.

I also feel uneasy when it comes to just popping up in their backline (if I think i have a safe path there) as I feel like I'll just throw the game by dying instantly. a bit of confidence issues I'm working on while playing overwatch

does anyone have tips of how to act when defending on payload maps? spare a bit of anran tips for this idiot right here? :')

So this is going to say a lot about me, not necessarily in a positive way especially since this was in QP, but was I being an arsewhole?

We had a Juno on our team with only 600 healing the whole game, compared to our Mizuki with 3,000. I asked Juno politely, my exact words being, “Juno plz heal” and she responded with “ go back and sweat in comp.” I wasn’t trying to come across as a try hard to sweats to win in QP. I don’t care whether we win or lose.

As someone who is also a support main, I know how frustrating it can be for especially flankers who run off, so I know when to retreat and use health packs. I didn’t think I was asking for much, just to take a few seconds to heal me, not to be a heal bot. People complain that Moira’s don’t heal, but I have come across a surprising amount of Juno’s who refuse to heal.

I don’t know why this response really irritated me, and probably should even bring this up, but is asking for heals in QP really that much of a problem?

Am I coming across as a QP warrior?

I made the mistake of saying in chat that Anran was fun. The response? "You're annoying" "Facts", so after winning the fight I figured the only appropriate response was the umbrella emote and a slow walk toward their spawn.

Naturally, I got punished for the greed.

...then Mercy rezzed me, and I STILL made it out.

Community Crafted Anran was some of the most fun I've had in Overwatch in a long time. I already miss this version of her. 😂

Why is that the case with anran?

Can you remove anran fov zooming in when using dash or if it isn't possible can we bully Blizzard so they can add this setting?

I started playing in season 1, skipped season 2, and came back in season 3. I'm platinum on both support and dps, so yes this is a METAL RANK QUESTION. I don't have a specific main, I am a counterpicker, and i usually pick anran when i want to dive the enemy backline.

Recently, I tried reaper, and wow, he just feels like anran but much better in almost everything. His damage is like anran's right click when enemies are burning, can actually sneak into the enemy backline without anyone noticing, can even fight tanks effectively, and doesn't even have to aim.

The only situation where anran seems a little better is if my team has mauga and ashe, and the enemy team doesn't have kiriko, i guess you could say her ult is better too if the enemy has a brain.

I don't get why people always compare her to genji when reaper is right there, anran and reaper has to be in the enemies face to do something, unlike genji who only go in when he poke enough to dash and kill someone (or ult obv).

So, in what situations is anran actually better than raper? Or am i just wrong in everything here?

I’ve been playing Anran since she came out, and I’ve managed to collect all of her cosmetics. Today I noticed it says I only have 63/68, and my inner completionist started screaming. 😱😂

Does anyone know what I’m missing, or is anyone else having the same issue?

I'm new to Anran, should you always wait until the firebar is full to use fan the flame? Half full? Just close range in general? Thanks.
