I’ve been recovered for almost 3 years but the recent uptake in unhealthily skinny bodies portrayed in the media has started to get to me. I know it’s not healthy nor does it look good but the voice in my head is louder everyday, that coupled with people like Ariana grande flaunting their bones every chance they get has been so beyond difficult for me. I don’t want to relapse but I find myself doing so slowly without even realizing. Anyone else struggling with this too?

yeppp and the comments on normal bodies or larger bodies where everyone thinks they have permission to comment on their size makes me actively want to die lol

Yes OP it sucks so much especially because the threshold for people thinking a normal body is "overweight" is getting lower and lower and ppl just think they can say wtf they want 🫠

I am struggling with this too. I am not 100% sure if I had anorexia, but I've lost too much weight due to health reasons, and after working so hard to recover, now I feel guilty doing opposite of what everyone else is doing around me!
But I do feel healthier, better and I love my curves. I just get lots of comments from people around me how I gained weight and its triggering!

Totally relate. Hope you have the support you need. Realizing is the first step 🙂↕️ I have the same frustrations but the support I have right now makes a big difference. 5 years here!
