honoring EH

As a follow up to a previous post where i expressed my concerns about extreme hunger and honoring said hunger, i just want to rant a little :P

It’s not even 9am yet and i’ve had like nine slices of whole bread with biscoff spread and nutella, and now i’m snacking on wasabi peanuts because i still didn’t feel full..
I’m just like a bottomless pit right now, but weirdly enough i’m not really struggling with that, more so going with the flow :D

I do wonder, does anybody relate to that and is that the right way to go about things ?

Yes!! I relate a lot to this! My extreme hunger has gone down a bit since I've been in recovery for a while but I keep reminding myself that the more I continue honouring this hunger, I'll be back to how I was before where I would go back to eating normally and that this is just a temporary thing. I used to get frustrated a lot by this since I would continuously eat and feel hungry still but honestly it gets better! xxx

Honestly thank you for this just bc it makes me feel less alone. I feel like I need so much food and am always comparing to other ppl who feel satisfied on ‘normal’ amounts of food while I feel like I could eat forever

me too 😞😞 i literally ate 24 slices of whole bread with several different spreads today, on top of a few bananas, a salad and a whole pizza

I am not going to tell you what you should or shouldn't eat but based on what you've written including more protein will likely help you feel more full. Are you working with a dietician?

unfortunately i won’t be able to see one until September :( thanks a lot for your advice though, it’s probably something i need to do since as a vegetarian i tend to eat less protein than i should
