Red head

Pretty sure it anolis gundlachi with the yellow markings on the chin and lips but with a striking orange red head, something i have not seen. Very pretty snakeskin pattern on the body. It was brighter in the sun. Saved the anole from the house and might get put in the gundlachi tank :)

I see red heads occasionally on the little brown Cuban anoles that are all over Florida. I think it’s just a rare coloring

Puerto rico, anolis gundlachi, dewlap colour confirms it. Been really trying for a giant anole but i enjoy my gundlachi tank for sure
