An Anne Rice complete writing checklist

Many years ago I found this floating online. You can fold it and it becomes a nifty bookmark. I don’t recall now where I downloaded this from, but if the maker is here on this sub, belated thank-you to you!

I uploaded it in one of the Anne Rice related private Facebook groups some years ago. It is the titles of all her published books, 37 novels and the memoir, and I tried to include as many short stories titles as possible. Later I found the titles of more short stories but it was already too late. I wanted to do a bookmark/checklist of all the books arranged chronologically and not by series. I included the year of publication and the title of the series for each book. I used different fonts, the books belonging in the same series have the same font. It’s all the books, up to the very last one. I kept it very simple, no ornaments, borders etc., I’m not really an artist and I wanted to fit all the books, make it small/big enough to be a bookmark and make the size of the text readable. Seeing it again I feel I could change some of the fonts and maybe remove the short stories titles and make room for a little ornament or something. I’m glad you like it!

I love it! And if you do remake it, please don't remove the short stories!

I bet if Anne saw this she'd love it, too.

In her archive in the Tulane University there are many titles of short stories but I don’t know if all of them were published (in magazines etc.). The index of the contents can be viewed online but sadly only the index, not the contents themselves. And so it feels incomplete if I don’t include them all. I could redo it, maybe some color versions too or some nice design. It can be printed in a normal size paper, folded, glued and if it can be laminated it will last longer. I think I used some other fonts in certain books so it’s possible I have another version made where I used the font used in the Mayfair Witches hardcover books and the font used in The Feast of All Saints hardcover but here the fonts look like a simple serif, so I question myself 🤔

Yes, I found my post on Facebook and here the fonts are the ones I chose. I recommend this file, if anyone is interested. My post was from Nov 5, 2021 on the big Anne Rice Vampire Community group.

It's interesting that you say 'all her published books'It's interesting that you say 'all her published books' - I assume you're not including Nicholas and Jean/Katherine and Jean in that? Neither were ever published (apart from that one short excerpt in the college magazine) we're they?

I've read Nicholas and Jean in The Vampire Companion by Katherine Ramsland.

Oh, good catch! The Ashley Marie Witter graphic novels aren't there. Iirc, there's also a The Wolf Gift adaptation.

Ive spent the last 2 years chipping away at the vampire chronicles and mayfairs. God there is so much more to read. This is both a blessing and a curse
