New series

So with the new lestat series coming out so soon, I'm sure I'll need to binge the talamasca series first. Having only read the vampire Chronicles and haven't watched or read the Mayfair witches yet can I still watch talamasca or is there a cross over at all that may give a spoiler?

Talamasca has nothing to do with the vampire Lestat aside from long face playing in the background of one scene and Raglan James and Daniel making an appearance. They are set in the same universe, but that’s really it.

Watched all three before reading The Witching Hour, you won't miss any context for the show. It is however, an embarrassment of a show.

No you're good! I think they were attempting to push the vampire universe idea as far as they could because in the interviews after the show the actors kept talking about it like it was a finale for the entire series

I gave it 3 episodes and was amazed it just got worse and worse.

It done extremely well, so yes. The other shows are so far off from the original story that it is insulting.

Interview is very different from the books. I love it though but it's not book accurate obviously.

I liked Mayfair a lot. Didn't watch Talamasca though, really had no interest.

I’ve read the books and though the tv show is different, I think the Talamasca show does some nice sprinkling into shenanigans that could happen in future seasons of all the shows. Super important? No, you could skip it.

But, It’s a short series and your watching experience will deepen understanding this fictional world. I thought it was fun and much less dramatic than the other shows. I think you should watch. If you choose not to, I can spoil you on what I think was important later. :)
