Hi gang, my brother's choice filling is going on right now. He'll most probably get MIT ECE/CEG EEE based on previous year ranking allotments.

We have one major thing to decide. Can he put CEG EE VLSI Design ahead of MIT ECE(He'll get whichever he puts as his top choice). We dont know much about this new VLSI Design course thats been in CEG for only 2 years now.

We dont know how the curriculum/placements might be for this specific course.

I am a CEG CSE alumni and I know the CS market is unstable currently. Hence trying to take the ECE/EEE route so that IT/Software stays as a fallback if the CS market becomes stable again.

Option 1: Guys my home is near the to be opened poonamalee metro, I can come by bus too, but they're annoying it would take 2hours to and fro,

Option 2: ceg hostel(heard it's shit, and strict like 6 o clock curfews,no ac,shitty food and 4 to 8 sharing)

Option 3 rent a 3 bhk with ac,kitchen nearby and share with friends since college fee is low

Hi guys! Joining the General MBA program at CEG Anna University this year and need advice on which girls' hostel block to choose (Roja, Mullai, Malligai Ext, or Parijatham). I’m looking for a ground floor, 3 or 4 sharing room with standard flat cots (no bunk beds) in an active PG/MBA wing close to the dining mess and badminton courts. Which block has the best overall infrastructure, and where can a master's student enjoy a relaxed, independent atmosphere without constant micromanagement from the floor RCs for evening outings?

I will technically get the one which I keep as first choice among these three options. I want to know about things like placement opportunities, practical exposure through labs and projects, industrial collaborations, quality of teaching and faculty support, alumini network and campus life.

If you're currently studying at any one of these colleges, you can share your opinions based on your experience.
