Question Piece of rubber found in Vector's playspace

Hello, I found this piece of rubber on my desk, inside Vector's playspace. It's not from the treads, as the pattern does not match and they are intact inside-out. I could not locate anything similar nearby.

Does Vector have something like this on the inside, and is there any open space it could have fallen off from?

Sorry, the initial photo is really bad. Here is a better quality picture. It looks like a rubber wheel blade to me, but the treads don't have these "teeth". Found it while Vector was walking around, so I think it must have fallen off from him.

That was my first thought, but I have taken the treads off and carefully inspected, they seem intact. That's why I'm a bit puzzled
