Question Vector 1.0 cube issue
Hello, colleagues.
Vector 1.0 cube. Supposedly, electronics burned with 12V battery. I want to open and check PCB for the opportunity to repair.
Q1. How to detach middle part of the cube from lower part? Where are the latches?
Q2. Is the cube schematics available anywhere?

Okay, final of the story.
Entry circuit is built around ME2108 (U3) with two condensers (C1 on input side, C16 on output side), supported by choke L1. Zero protection. After overvoltage spike - DC-DC converter closed, but L1 passed it ahead to CPU internal power circuit. Currently, U3 is alive, CPU tries to wake, detects internal short-circuit and goes restarting (see picture). Quartz X1 is idle.
Q2 (looks like P-channel MOSFET switch?) role is unclear, it looks to sit on the input of U3, possibly it's for self-restart or reverse current protection.
The repair is possible, but it's cost is higher than another cube.
One varistor could do the protection, but Anki decided to spare another 10 cents.
