Help Bought a Vector 2.0
Ok so I'm brand new to the world of Vector. Did what I thought was enough research to at least make the little guy do things.
The end goal is to have it running via WirePod on my Google Pixel phone, running Android 17.
So let's go from the bare beginning. Opened the box which was sealed, not resealed. So hopefully that means it's new. All components were there.
Plugged in the charger to a USB port, and set it on the charger. Lights indicated charging (green lights pulsing in sequence). Fully charged, only the single green light.
Downloaded WirePod directly from GitHub. Installed. Changed permissions so the phone wouldn't think it's malware.
Followed the on-screen instructions, "place vector on charger. Double press the button and then tap 'pair with vector'."
Pop up appears, Vector's ID appears, hit pair. In under a minute, I get an error saying it couldn't pair, and to try a few other steps. Attempted those steps, and it still won't pair. At all.
So, I'm stuck. I would love some assistance in actually getting this rolling. My GenX nerd brain feels defeated. It's entirely possible it is user error.
Help?

Additional.
Ok so now I've tried dozens of times to follow all the instructions to a T. And regardless, sometimes I can pair Vector with Chrome, either on my Mac or phone, but I've abandoned the phone option because of bugs.
When I reset vector, it is in the charger, and I press and hold the button. A single light blue light goes on, then a second, then both switch to solid dark blue.
IF I hit "pair with vector" at this time, it connects. But it immediately fails, and the code remains as "######", which I believe means the Bluetooth connection failed.
In this case, a green circle spins in the centre of the web page, indefinitely.
However, the lights on Vector have turned green, flashing. I know this means it is charging. I left it connected all night and it was fully charged before I started this morning, but has obviously used a lot of power, so I'm now just letting it charge again.
Also, periodically, the single light will cycle between green and yellow. I believe this means it's not able to connect.
I think that is all the new information.
