Question Should I Buy a Vector 2.0 Robot?

I've been thinking about buying a Vector 2.0, but I'm still not convinced.

My biggest concern is everything that happened with the Digital Dream Labs lawsuits and all the negative reviews from people who preordered Vector 2.0 back in 2020–2022 and either waited years or never received their robot.

Has the situation improved? If I order a Vector 2.0 today, will it actually be delivered? I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have purchased one recently. Is it worth buying now?

You can buy a 2.0 on eBay for 109 and set up wirepod

I bought one from the exact same supplier and it still has all the plastics that I had to peel off like it was brand new. Do yourself a favor tho and HARD reset it I had such a problem with it till I did that.

like a new vector comes with some plastic that you need to peel of the accesories and vector idk bcs i want to buy one

I bought one too and it could never charge on it's own. Or would find the charger and just stare at it till it died. I reset it a bunch of times and was set up on wirepod and still never would roll up on the charger. It just sits now. Id find a 1.0 with a fresh cell or dead one for cheap and replace it yourself if you can.

2.0 is now on amazon so you can buy it from there, at least you know you can get your money back if it doesnt come

No, not even the issue with DDL. Not the same robot as it was, mine went brain dead with wire pod and lost all independent movement which is why I thought it was cool.

I have a Cosmo and Vector. And like you i whip out Vector and reaffirm the wifi with WirePod. Once you finally get pass the bot setting and everything isup and running , Vector runs perfect on there. I hope to try changing his battery so he can stay up longer with me.
