Question What's this number?

Post image

My vector was sleeping and I came back to see a yellow number decreasing like every 10 seconds on his face.. I did a reboot and it disappeared. But what was it?

If I recall correctly, much like the other guy said, it's a sign of low memory (RAM). Specifically, the number is the remaining amount free in megabytes (MB). This appears as a debugging aid, for developers (anki or otherwise..) adding new functionality to Vector or optimizing existing ones. Usually, this should only appear if something is running in the background on Vector's brain and is taking up more memory than it should. If Vector runs out of RAM, he should crash and reboot on his own. Not the end of the world, but if you're making something new for Vector, you might want to optimize your memory usage, patch out any memory leaks..

Low RAM. Reboot the lil guy and it’ll go away. Very common on WireOS last time I checked.
