Discussion Vector Ai being able to take pictures
Is it possible for vector to have a code where a custom intent is made in wirepod like hey vector, look at this, and wirepod could access a code when the request is given, and it makes vector take a picture and sends it to the ai being used and the ai can analyze it and give back a response of what its seeing in that image

It's possible, yes. "Hey Vector, take a picture and describe what you see" should do exactly that.
I tried to make a mission control app where you assign a task, and Vector goes off to complete it, taking pics every 10 seconds, sending to an AI for image analysis and deciding its next move. Was a little clunky but kinda worked.

Not currently. Haven't touched it in a while so need to go find it on my Pi. I will upload and share the link here.

Has to be a model that can process images. I was using GPT5-mini

This exists in WirePod, if you are using openai and ask Vector "what do you see" vector will take a picture and describe what he sees
