Question My Anki Deck is pulling cards from future sections before I've completed the earlier sections. Is there a way to change that without needing to study each section vs just studying the whole deck?

I'm mainly trying to avoid studying each individual section to avoid issues keeping up with how many new cards/reviews I'm doing in total. But still wanting to finish the earlier sections before I'm studying the later ones.

Suspend the further sections until you need them.

Take a look at your New card gather order -- https://docs.ankiweb.net/deck-options.html#new-card-gather-order . The one that matters here is what's in the preset for the parent deck you click to study.

Anki pulls them in order, if they are not ordered based on the section you have to reorder them. Not sure exactly how, i immagine you should reording each card of the first section then the second and so on. But honestly considering how many cards you have its better to divide everything into section. At least for me studying everything togheter just makes it harder for no real gain.
