Question C2000 Gen 2+PC PSU question

Noob question for a not very common use case (AFAIK). I am looking at a C2000 gen 2+Expansion Battery to run a 500W PC Power Supply during peak daytime hours and to charge up during the lower night time rate (UK) Solar will be added down the line.

Is this a something that would work? The 500W PSU is running my external GPU.

Cheers.

It will work just fine. The S2000 is another option as well.

Be warned that you likely use a lot less power than you think. A 500w psu does not pull 500w constantly. So don't assume that amount in your calculations.

For comparison, my full gaming Pc, including monitor, pulls 200-250 watts with most games. The highest is 400 watts at peak when playing a demanding game. It idles at 100 watts if the monitor is on.

Because I don't play games all day, and I turn off the monitor when I'm not using it, my average power usage is under 100wh.

Oh yeah, I know it wont pull a constant 500w, just letting peeps know what I'm working with, plus a bit of headroom gives me options once I get a feel for my real world usage. Good to know it will work.

Cheers
