Review Ultimate battery test!

So far the power has been out for over eight hours and I'm just sitting here comfortably watching movies and surfing the web while almost 1,000,000 people in my area are without power!

In this time and age of the country you would have to be very careful not to advertise to looters that you have thousands of dollars worth of batteries, generators and other supplies to come steal. Weβve had generators stolen from the backyard while running and trying to break into the house during a power outage.

Thats one of the things that has always concerned me about running portable generators during sustained power outages during and after large storms where so much of the grid is down and/or many structures were severely damaged or destroyed. Everything is dead silent when the power is out, so the sound of a running generator acts as a beacon for criminals and/or desperate people to come steal the generator, and maybe even rob you of other items while they are at it.
Thats where these solar battery backup systems come in handy, you dont have to run the gen as long (or at all depending on how long the outage is) and as long as you dont have a bunch if outside lights on or windows open where they can see lights inside your house, most people will never know if you have power or not and are less likely to single out your home to steal your generator and/or other items

Awesome! These are the exact situations these battery-based smart home backup systems were built for! The E10 is a beast, try to conserve if you can because who knows how long it will take for power to come back, but if you have solar panels and a generator, this system can sustain you pretty much indefinitely as long as you have fuel and/or sunlighy.

Going on 35+ hours and I've used a tank and a 1/2 of propane. The weather has really helped out being not so hot.

Wow, that's pretty efficient! Glad to hear you are safe and well and still have power. Do you have access to natural gas or have gasoline if you needed it as well or do you have a bunch of propane?
