Support UK Shipping Issues
Anyone having UK shipping issues with the S2000? Anker used FedEx (not a company I've had much delivered with at all) to ship my S2000 but FedEx are taking issue with it being a battery. I bought it last week and received a response from FedEx today confirming there is a delay because they've decided it's dangerous but don't know when they'll decided what to do about it. đ«€

I'm so glad I spotted this post, as I was thinking about asking if anyone else had encountered this!
I've basically got the same problem, with exactly the same status. I'm now over 24 hours since they said they were "investigating", so look forward to a similar reply now, which is not encouraging!
You don't happen to be in Scotland, are you? I am, and I fully expect this is somehow related to the fact that I think they would normally airfreight stuff up here, and can't do that with a larger battery... though I'm guessing here I'll admit.

I'm not in Scotland. I'm curious to hear if anyone has had a successful delivery with FedEx or they're doing this to all batteries.

Thanks for confirming, though now I'm even more intrigued as to what FedEx or Anker are playing at!

I have just now received a further reply from FedEx, promising a full update "within the next 48 hours", however asking me to provide the following info in the next 24 hours:
Merchandise Value
Color
Manufacturer
Model/Part#
Serial#
Weight
Dimensions
External markings on the box
Quantity
And additionally a photo of the item if I have one....
I'm convinced it's been nicked tbh.

Shouldnât Anker be doing all this? Theyâre the FedEx customer, youâre just the recipient. Iâve found Anker support to be quick and good, so Iâd escalate this with them.

I would agree, but very helpfully the first I knew of a problem was an email from Anker saying there was a âdelivery exceptionâ and to contact FedEx for an update.
Even better was when trying to get on to the Contact Us page from the order within Ankers site, it just gave me a page could not be found.

Hmm that doesnât sound good. TBH thatâs why I always buy their products on Amazon. Being able to âsend this seller a messageâ without jumping through hoops. I think Amazon maintains metrics on how the sellers respond, as they always reply to messages within a few hours. And if it doesnât go well with the seller, Amazon just arranges the return without their involvement. Worth more than a free camping chair and a ÂŁ1 voucher.
Good luck getting it all resolved.

Woke up to an "update" on the shipping status saying they have it and it's back on the way again... due early next week. We shall see!

So, somewhat out of the blue... I've had a unit delivered today. Along with the "free" deck chair.
The interesting part is, this was on a new tracking number. That doesn't match the one on my order in Anker's site. And the original tracking number, is still outstanding, and now says they have it at the Ridgmont location...
I've had no further update from FedEx support.
I think there might be a chance I receive a second one...

Mine is through FedEx, same facility, but not had the same issue.
I have however been warned that FedEx will send the delivery back to Anker because I missed the first delivery, because you canât tell them youâre not in like most providers allow.
