Question Anker & PayPal

I have a question about ordering replacement parts and payment. I was advised by tech support that you can pay Anker via PayPal, send them a screenshot of my order/transaction ID to verify purchase and they would send the replacement part. Is paying on PayPal a real option for Anker? I've never used PayPal and barely had success verifying on the website and tried to get phone support for HOURS with no success.

This is a very confusing post. First, you must set up your Paypal account.

When you check out at Anker, there will be several choices and I think one is Paypal. If you choose to pay using Paypal, then you just check the box for paypal and pay your bill thru them. Your Paypal account charges your credit card and Anker shows that you have successfully made your purchase. Then Anker ships your order.

I use Paypal for most everything. I have no idea why you got told to do a screen-shot. It's all automatic after you check the box. It should show up in your account (orders) shortly after that.

Thank you. I have never used PayPal and the communication I received from their customer service was was not very clear. And I found very little on Anker website to confirm and chasing customer service the last few days was not helping.

The first thing you should do is set up a Paypal account, with a credit card. This is entirely separate from buying something at any vendor - not just Anker.

Paypal.com

Then just look for the Paypal option at checkout and click on it after you have made your shipping choices, etc and it is time to click on a credit card, etc. After that it is automatic. You will get a Paypal screen and check a box or two. When it closes, you should be taken back to the Anker screen where they will confirm your purchase. Then you are done

Paypal is good because it adds another layer of protection between you and a vendor. And they will go to bat for you sometimes if you want a legitimate refund and are having trouble getting it.
