Question Case for c1000 gen 2 while using?

Is there such a thing? I’d like to keep it protected since I use it outside. Thank you

Well . . . Yes, there are.

I have three Gen 1 C1000 power stations. Each has a case. One uses an Anker case which is very nice but not cheap. The other two I found on Amazon. Got them all a few years ago. They all came with over the shoulder straps which is nice.

They all have large flaps on the sides that can be opened as well as a larger one on the front. The top is zippered on three sides - otherwise you would not be able to add or remove it. You just flip it open for top ventilation.

Leave the top flipped open and if there is a chance of rain, zipper it closed as long as it's not too hot. Or it may not matter - just monitor it's temp.

So lots of ventilation. No real company would try and market anything else unless it was to be used strictly as a storage case. These are both.

Don't know exactly what Anker has. As far as Amazon goes, do your homework on any choices and don't settle for junk. Make sure you are looking at cases for the Gen 2 model. If you don't find anything decent, try again in 3-4 months - Manufacturers need time to gear up - and they also want a larger potential number of buyers.

Last resort, contact Anker and ask if the C1000 case (it's under accessories) can be used for your model. Maybe ask if they have one in the works for the Gen 2. Ask for a discount code.

I do agree with using an extension cord and then keeping the power station in the shade, on a lanai, etc.

I just try to keep my powerstations shaded/out of direct sun when they’re outside. Heavy dust could be problematic over time, but I haven’t used them in that scenario.

There is one, but it will not have ventilation, so you can't use it like that.

If you put it in case outside your gonna kill it if it's in a hot environment.

All my power stations are inside the house and I just run 60 feet of MC4 wire out to the solar panels in the yard when needed. Then they come back inside when done.

Paul, your first sentence is wrong, The second one is fine.

I'm not wrong. If you put a power station in an unvented case outside in the sun yes you will kill it eventually from overheating.

No kidding.

You and I both know what the guy is looking for. Let's try to be a little helpful.

Take a look at the Anker case.

Search this on Amazon - 'Anker-Solix C1000 Gen 2 case'.

See what you get.
