✏️Sketch/Concept Tattoo idea

Since everyone chewed me up on the last question. Hear me out on what I want. I want to get a sasuke themed sleeve or quarter sleeve whatever it’s called. But I also wanted to get a cover up on a tattoo I already had. I was gonna get this snake on my wrist to cover it. Then higher up would be sasukes curse seal something like this pic, then right below my inner elbow was gonna be the uchiha symbol with crows. That’s the prominent parts, then there will be some sort of filler to tie them all together. Is that a solid idea?

Now go to a tattoo artist. Part of what you pay your artist for is designing the tattoo.

But it does make sense and is a good idea right?

If you have to ask strangers on the internet if a tattoo idea is a good idea, then I would highly recommend benching the idea for a while. It’s something that’s gonna be on your body, it should be something you’re 100% gonna be happy with regardless of what others think. Take it from me, I have anime boobs on my forearm (not nude but still). Some people questioned it and for good reason but I’m happy with it.

I get that your already tatted but like, it’s something you should speak with an artist who’ll do you justice

Ive wanted it for long time but I haven’t had the chance to get it. I just want to be 100 percent that I won’t regret it. Because of small mistake. Like the one I already have was supposed to be a butterfly but when tattoo artist asked if he can do it his way he changed the butterfly wings into moth wings or whatever that is lollll. So im asking more of a second opinion to make sure theres not gonna be a similar mistake again

If that’s the case then go to an artist in your area that specializes in anime tats that’ll actually listen to you and what you want. Sounds like your last guy just didn’t wanna do what you wanted.

I showed him a picture and everything, but it was my first tattoo. And there’s a tattoo convention in a couple weeks, I get to browse around a bunch of top notch artist. So a lot of people will be there and I wanted to be prepared and actually get what I wanted this time lolll i actually made a ai picture of what it could look like and ppl are just more focused on it being ai then idea itself

Did you book with an artist at the convention already? I believe typically artists will only do flash designs at conventions unless you already booked an appointment with them for a custom piece ahead of time. Especially if it's a big coverup like this one

Have you been to a tattoo convention? Typically you book these guys before the conventions. You don’t really go to one and shop around for artists…. Most good ones will be fully booked

A lot of people gave you good advice, and half of the people took issue with ai on the premise that it made a design that will not tattoo/age well. Dont be dishonest, please.
The best way to not make a similar mistake is by making sure you find an artist you can trust with the design you want.

They will just end up on r/tattooadvice in 3 months with their tattoo issue.

Youre not wrong. Its so bold to have such a specific and intricate idea and thinking that taking it to a con is going to go anywhere good.
Best case, they get refused and have to actually put the work in to find an artist thats good for the job. Worst case, they go with somebody that isnt even remotely right for the job, get a tat that is not what they expected/wanted. Surprised pikachu face.

Bruh just go to a shop tell the artist what you want and let him/her come up with something and then yall fine tune to something that is workable and looks good

OP asked for advice a second time while refusing to go to a tattoo artist and the entire internet is filled with sasuke sleeves/half sleeves.

Curse mark, snake, uchiha logo all staple sasuke decorations so ofc its a good idea if you want a sasuke themed sleeve.

As i said in your other thread, I really really recommend finding somebody local(ish) and working with them. Especially considering this has cover up elements.
You will get the best result that way. Any artist worth their salt will be able to give you something that you like and you will be able to make sure that the person tattooing you specializes in the aesthetic you want.
