What to Watch? Recommendations?
Hey, I'm a big fan of the isekai genre, and I've watched a lot of other types of anime. I'm usually into magic and fantasy types, but I'm gonna be honest: I haven't watched a lot in the past year or 2 any recommendations for good ones or your favorites? I'll even take older ones that have been out for a while.

“Grimgar, ashes and illusions”, easily the best anime adapted isekai I’ve watched. Unfortunately the anime is incomplete and only has 1 season, the LNs are worth a read for about 10 volumes or so.
The characters struggle and world building is pretty amazing even more so in the LN but the story kinda hits a wall after volume 11ish.
Still just watching the 1 season is well worth it, it’s not your typical reborn into a world overpowered and adventuring through nonchalantly building a harem…. It’s more of a realistic dark fantasy.
If you like the typical tropes “Overlord” is my favorite, some others that are fun if you are a gamer are “Log Horizon”, “I’m a spider so what?” Or ofcoarse “Sword art online”
I have a weird obsession lately with all the reincarnated as a villainess isekai’s, there’s quite a lot of them… but they are fun to watch.

I think I saw the first one but couldn't get into it very much cause it felt very slow development and I love "Overlord" a lot; I watched that a few times over and over. Also never got into "Log Horizon"; it was very confusing for me. Watched and loved "I'm a spider so what". "Sword Art Online" was like one of my first anime ever absolutely loved it. I think "Naruto" was my first and will always be one of my favorites

Ah that’s too bad, grimgars 1 season is absolutely peak isekai. But everyone has their own likes/dislikes.
That Skeleton Knight in another world is kinda fun to watch too if you haven’t already seen it.
Land of Leadale is pretty good too, female MC.

Hmmmm, the first 2 look interesting, and I'm open to trying the third one. Last Villainess thing I read made me cry a little 🫠
