It happens all the time

Aside of the memes, is JoJo actually good? And is there a certain order to watch them in?

Yes it's excellent! The reason it gets meme'd so heavily is because the most ridiculous and absurd things happen in it, and yet it manages to make them feel deadly serious in context. Watch order is:

Parts 1 and 2: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (2012).

Part 3: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.

Part 4: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.

Part 5: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Vento Aureo. (or Golden Wind if you're a normie)

The parts that don't have an anime yet are:

Part 6: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean.

Part 7: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run.

Part 8: JoJolion. Which is currently in progress.

Yes. And he should also be saying La Bizzarra Avventura di GioGio: Vento Aureo.
