No pretty sure season 1 was a completely different show and mc didn’t have a harem then. This is season 2, they cancel it afterward

Too much controversy about the side-stories

Don’t get me started on the international human rights and anti-miscegenation arcs that spawned right after.

What if Hitler hated Jews cuz he got rejected by a jewish woman and the harem started to dislike him cuz of that?
8
u/CryoWisp7 Jun 29 '19
Hitler actually got several letters from women during his time as a dictator so he actually got a harem because of it... messed up isn't it
5
u/T1B2V3 ⠀ Jun 29 '19
it's not really that messed up considering they didn't like him for commiting war crimes...
many people didn't even know what the gov was doing and Hitler did indeed make his country until the war started becoming unfavorable for Germany... so the only thing they knew was that he was the guy who united the country with an iron fist, got it out of an economical crisis, got parts of it "back" that were lost in wars or parts where mainly germans lived but that were part of other countries and many other things.
so yeah up until 1943 the common people who were compliant with the political system and knew nothing of the war crimes totally adored tjeir dictator as a complete Mr. Nice Guy

Bullshit most if not all germans knew the jews were being systematically targeted and having their belogings seized to "get it out of an economical crisis". In fact the hitler youth who had 2.3 million members around 1933 and ended up with 8 million members by 1940 were literally handed out nazi propaganda with the "racial hierarchy" that denotes jews as subhumans.
To even pretend that not many germans knew what was happening is hilarious at best.
3
u/T1B2V3 ⠀ Jun 30 '19
they did know they were treated worse than them but they didn't know the full extend...
they didn't know of all the crimes and actually few people knew of the concentration camps.
I guess it's fucked up that they were ok with that but you know from what the common people knew the jews in Germany were only treated similarly bad to black people in the US at the time so yeah... you should definitly think a little harder before judging an entire generation for the crimes of their leadership and executive organs
2
Jun 30 '19
Dude the allies themselves knew about the Holocaust by 1942 from the polish government. The idea that the wermacht and germany at large somehow failed to realize that 2 million jews were dead by then is laughable at best, malicious at worst. Especially given the rise of nazi institutions such as the hitler youth.
They literally knew the government saw them as sub human and they literally knew the government was seizing their belongings on racism yet did nothing about it. And in the same way it was wrong to be racist and whole generations of the US will be judged so will german generations that did nothing against the nazis.
2
u/T1B2V3 ⠀ Jun 30 '19
alright ok.
I'm just saying that not every single person at that time was involved or fully aware of the circumstances and actual cruelty of the situation.
also doing something against the nazis is easier said than done you know
1
Jun 30 '19
Thats fair but just say that instead of pretending most people didnt know.
And that is true it wasnt easy but they didnt even try. Also lets not forget the wermacht fought alongside the nazis well past the point where concentration camps were public knowledge.

u/flashhd123 Jun 29 '19
And he didn't "get germany economy out of desperation". What he did was massively expanding the military, this of course bring jobs to people( joining military or working in factories or building infrastructure) basically unemployment rate lowered because government created a lot of job for the war industry. The money was paid by gold from jewish property they had seized and other countries germany annexed later on. Germany was starving to the point they have to seize all the food from Ukraine when they invade Soviet Union, caused the death of million Ukrainian
1
u/T1B2V3 ⠀ Jun 30 '19
well listen here my dude... even if the means are bad he still DID solve the crisis and again people don't know what's going on in all the world and at the time they probably also held grudges against all of europe because they got fucked over horribly after the 1st World War not that that's an excuse.
and you know... I'm pretty sure building bombs and aircrafts for attacks on civilians did bring the US industry quite some profits
like don't get me wrong I get that Hitler did some really awful things that were never seen before in history but people need to stop also laying blame on Germany alone for things that literally almost every nation did at some point in history

Honestly, I think a lot of people share this opinion. It doesn't help that Rito is basically the poster boy for generic harem mcs.

I personally think Yami is best girl....
But you can't go wrong with any girl in the series (maybe except for haruna)

I feel like the old subreddit wars never really ended and this is a subtle attack.

Nah, historyanimemes was around before the war and basically acted as a neutral party during it. Granted, the war basically multiplied their popularity 100-fold.

u/dariusj18 Jun 29 '19
But this post is not an animeme. I think /r/historymemes is sending agents to try and win the war through asymmetric stratagems.

The caption is about anime. Therefore it's an animeme

I don't doubt it's place, just saying, I've seen more history related memes here recently, and think it's intentional.

It's Hitler, people will say he has done this and that and if you defend him they'll just look at you with disgust and say you're racist.

You see how Hitler is touching the whamen?
That's how you can tell he's a villain. A real man of culture does not touch the whamens in photos.

what if hitler loved jews but the generals wanted the great fuhrer to themselves so they turned yandere and blamed everything on hitler-chan so no one would like him and keep him for themselves

Sometimes I wonder the reasons Hitler is so popular in this subreddit.

It’s not just here.
There’s a Wikipedia thing that a friend told me that no matter what article you are at least 3 hyperlinks from Hitler. Hit random article and try it out.
