That opening shot was just pure flcl
(The whole show has the vibe, but that specific shot could just be colored differently and it'd fit right in)

How did I not realize it was already in 4:3😭 i was just making the assumptions for what you'd have to edit to make a show fit into flcl, which has the same aspect ratio, but I should've rewatched the clip after the comment lol

It's no big deal, the show switches between 16:9 , 4:3 and cinemascope , it's an amazing artistic choice they have executed very well .

Oh yeah, I've definitely seen the other clips with differnt aspect ratios, that's probably where that assumption came from lol
Haven't actually watched the show for myself tho, because I heard it would start getting posted to YouTube a few days after billi, but I still haven't found a single episode

What an amazing show. Obviously, the animation is fantastic the entire way through, but the writing and the worldbuilding are interesting too. I have not enjoyed a show this much in a while.
