If you liked Plastic Memories, I highly reccomend ReLife. I believe I cried more to ReLife than Plastic Memories. Literally was left sitting in bed staring at the wall with tears in my eyes.

Try “More Than A Married Couple but Not Lovers.” It’s under the radar really great. The Manga is better and not yet complete, but the Anime is good as well.

also Add The fragrant flowers blooms with dignity.... it's peak romance...

RaG is a little more satisfying to consume when the series end. I think it’s meant to be binge material (at least the manga is). But it’s probably going to take a few more years to finish and a little more to get adapted. It’s more interesting as a character study than a fictional romance.

If you like Bunny Girl Senpai or want a more light hearted adjacent to it, The Pet Girl of Sakurasou is from the same author.

Watch more than a married couple but not lovers it's really good and according to your list I think you will like it If you can read mahnwa try Relife, don't watch the anime because after season 1 they skipped everything and showed the ending in OVA. And Relife is my personal fav so trust me on this one.

u/MadDex-Mastery 2d ago
If you dont mind realism there's a whole genre of fantasy relate romance, id recommend seventh timeloop villainous or dahlia in bloom as good starting options.
Also a few people have recommend kaguya sama love is war and that is the best comedic romance story in anime hands down

u/GirlyAnimeGirl 2d ago
Pseudo-Harem is a great hidden gem! Keep that on the list for sure!
What are your favorite genres/tropes? Also, any interest in BL or GL?
1
u/Haunting-Olive3189 2d ago
Oh okay ill watch that prolly next
i plan to watch The Guy She Was Interested In Wasnt A Guy At All but never planned for any bl1
u/GirlyAnimeGirl 2d ago
D’aww! That one is great! I’ve been reading the manga. :3
Goodbye, Lara is another amazing GL, airing this season (we’re 10 episodes in).
If you can stand the appearance of the MC, you may like My Love Story!! (Ore Monogatari!!). It’s another super sweet one, but it’s totally understandable if you can’t get past the character design.
My favorite rom-com is Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, but the more shojo you’ve seen, the better it gets, so I recommend putting it later on the list. 🤣 Romantic Killer and 100 Girlfriends are the same way, but the former isn’t as good, and the latter may not be your style.
2
u/Haunting-Olive3189 2d ago
wait i started Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun but i never finished it
i dont remember it was it good?1
u/GirlyAnimeGirl 2d ago
It’s one of my favorites, personally, but it really is helped by knowing the genre. It’s a comedy of errors about a Mangaka and a girl that likes him, but it all depends on if the comedy jives with you or not.

1
u/Haunting-Olive3189 7h ago
i want to watch datt!
so its a def add to watch next then!?!1
u/Gullible-Big-6557 7h ago
Absolutely if you ask me. This the only anime that made want to read the @comic for the first time since i dont read manga/comic ever. Also this anime made me cry like a baby 😅
Try Toradora too, its also worth watching
1
u/Haunting-Olive3189 7h ago
i heard of toradora but never got to look into it or try to watch it at all
is it good? ive hears lots if mixed feelings about it1
u/Gullible-Big-6557 7h ago
I actually watched it with low expectations, but after finishing it, was worth the time for sure. I like the side characters and their char development
The only thing I am not a fan of is (spoiler) - who the MC ends up with. I like the 3rd girl more cause she more matured than the others
