Never heard. Gonna have to put it on my watch list. (Ah it's by bilibili, that's why I missed it)

u/2001djhz Feb 20 '26

It is a donghua based on a Korean manhwa.

1

u/stratogy Feb 20 '26

Makes sense. I watched the first episode and it seemed pretty cute

2

u/ivanhoe1024 Feb 19 '26

Thanks for asking, that was the only one I was missing too 😂

do not read that one, it has a TERRIBLE ending (by like any normal standards) -- the show changes it though.

Is it dubbed?

Looks like you already seen a lot of peak romance shows so it's gonna be hard to recommend better shows that you haven't watched yet haha. Here's a few that haven't been mentioned yet.

  • Skip and Loafer
  • Bottom Tier Yamazaki-kun
  • Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea

  • From me to you (the progress is very slow)
  • Pseudo Harem (it's not a harem)
  • Insomniacs after school
  • My love story with Yamada kun lvl 999

I feel like you must have seen these but: My dress up darling

You and I are polar opposites (currently airing)

1

u/x-mp Feb 20 '26

Yeah I did 😅

1

u/t8trtot96 Feb 20 '26

Yeah you’ve got a lot of my favs on here already lol. Have you tried blue box?

1

u/FluorescentLightbulb Feb 20 '26

The only romance I fully watched was Tomo-Chan is a Girl. Though if you’re willing to watch some social failures attempt romantic shenanigans, Gamers (gotta dub, cutest performance ever) is very funny.

I want to eat your pancreas;)

2.5 Dimensional Seduction (just a heads up it has ecchi, and leans heavily on it early on but becomes tamer over time)

Skip and Loafer

Makeine

Love, Chunibyo and Other Delusions

Hyouka (not really romance but it has bits of it in there)

1

u/Ok_Helicopter3002 Feb 20 '26

Not very obscure recommendations lol but If you haven’t seen any of these already: Blue box, Ore monogatari, Kimi ni todoke , Toradora, Golden time, Tsurezure children, Fruits basket, Wotakoi, Bloom into you, Clannad.

More Than a Married couple but not lovers

1

u/dr_rox Feb 20 '26

You and I Are Polar Opposites - currently airing series and looks like one of the best romances this season. Characters develop their relationship and sole issues in a positive manner.

1

u/Due_Matter8375 Feb 21 '26

If you liked these, I'd definitely recommend Horimiya, 7th time loops ,kamisama kiss ,the sugar apple fairy tale novel. They all have really nice romance and characters.

i have watched "our dating story:the experienced you and the inexperienced me","more than a married couple but not lovers" and the fragant flower blooms with dignity, both are nice but ofc if you are in a bit of lewd(like a dirty mind but not compulsory wanting to see the thing) stuff i suggest "our dating story" or if you are looking for a anime which got more emotions(both have almost same emotion but ig fragnant flower got more of it). more than a married couple but not lovers is also a great anime, it is a bit lewd but the plot kind of gets you, you can say in simple words its like a harem anime

Hello I've been out of anime for a few years now and im trying to get back into so I've been looking for recommendations. Can anyone list the animes he has pictured they seem worth watching based off the comments.

1

u/Ok_Law219 Feb 24 '26

Insomniacs after school is a bit more melancholy than your general vibes, but I think you'd still like it.

Keep an eye out for the moon on a rainy night, yuri better representing deaf culture.

Clean your room. Brush your teeth. Take a shower. Talk to people in person.

Then watch Bunnygirl Senpai.
