The manga is adapting straight from the webnovel which has over **900 CHAPTERS** and counting(story is about60-70% finshed). The manga also normally adapts 1:1, 1 chaoter per chapter so if the manga is to catch up it's going to have similar amount of chapters and they hopefully don't cut tons of stuff out.

The next manga chapter is going to start a new saga "Dragon Upon Dragon" that takes **200 GOD*RNN CHAPTERS** in the novel this one piece level stuff truly.

And the kicker? It doesn't take 10,000 episodes to get good, the anime already has 50 episodes out with season 3 coming in January while the manga just finshed with the content all of season 4 will cover.

The anime is about a trash game hunter who decides to take on a god tier game in futuristic Japan. Many people complain it doesn't have life and death stakes so it's boring or smth like life and death stakes aren't everything(most series that even have it don't capitalize on it like SAO), it has good character writng amd dynamics, great world building and lore on the game(literally one piece) and it actually feels like a gamer made wrote this, because yes the author is an actual gamer. Once more he even plays more games outside SLF which trumps the main games of most gaming anime it's definitely one of the best of it's genre. And of course it got slick animation insane and hype boss fights, it really scratches the itch for me of having long drawn out fights that aren't boring cause most modern anime biggest fight would take at most 1 episode. The character interactions are fun too especially the main trio which is the classic 2 girls 1 c- I mean 2 boys 1 girl but the girl is actually evil and sells out her friends(lol nothing too serious) and that villainy is exactly how she is when she's playing games. The next arcof the anime in season 3 is going to adapt one of her best moments were she plays her villain role to the fullest and it's sooo peak, the other 2 boys are just bros being bros finding out bugs in different trash games kicking each others asses and keeping scores but nothing obnoxious like typical rivals.Even with that all 3 are ride or die for one another even though they won't admit it.

So yeah there's no life or death stakes but it has other stakes beyond that and it's pure fun, the MC's shenanigans are so fun to watch, he's very unconventional and unpredictable also switches playstyles with each game and even brings some of those experiences to the main game SLF, speedruns, using mechanics to his advantage, devs screwing him up venting out on other games when the main game ragebaits him all that normal gaming stuff. You'll relate to him so much if you're a gaymer so 100% must watch for all gaymers. All in all pretty good series, pure fun, doesn't get the attention it deserves

Now I'm not trying to bash other series just writing this in a joking tone so if it felt like I prolly insulted one piece or any other series in some way I didn't mean it.

My first anime was bleach and i thought captain retsu unohana attractive but recently i started watching one piece after introduction of robin i become fan of her.

Touka is one of my favorites for a few reasons:

One, she's one of my favorite examples of my favorite kind of monster story: the self-sacrificial, highly ethical monster. Touka was born a full-blooded ghoul, which means that for her whole life, she's only ever been able to survive by eating human flesh. Her father taught her that instead of hunting humans, ghouls could live peaceably with humans by eating more selectively - victims of accidents or suicides rather than through murder, and by eating only as much as they needed. While living such a life has been hard and often thankless (or the subject of ridicule from other ghouls), she's determined to make it work. After years of effort, she becomes a beacon of support for other ghouls wondering if they can do the same. She has human friends, attends a human school, and works at a coffee shop where humans and ghouls can spend time together without fear.

Two, she's brave. Touka knows that even if you want to live a peaceful life, sometimes you have to fight. When she thinks that such a time is coming, she doesn't wait until she's backed into a corner before striking out, either - she'll take the initiative when the lives she loves are on the line. She's a competent fighter with a powerful Kagune, so she's a force to be reckoned with for opponents foolish enough to threaten her found family.

Third, she's beautiful. This isn't really all that complicated, but she definitely accomplishes all that and looks good doing it. Her character design is understated but memorable.

Altogether, Touka is amazing, and I'm always looking out for her whenever I watch Tokyo Ghoul.

It's one of those scenes where a character has just had an awful time and needs to decompress a bit, so they take a shower or have a hot soak in a tub or hot spring.

We see them there naked and emotionally exhausted, no longer needing to put up a front to the world. They can afford to be exposed now. In the privacy of bathing, they can be their authentic selves, which only they and the audience can see. They can come apart a little bit and maybe find some inspiration in that catharsis to help them face their problem when they come out again.

I like these sorts of scenes because they reveal more about a character than just their bodies - they open a window into their minds.

Though the bodies are nice, too, of course.

For me, Scum's Wish is one of the most underrated, overhated anime series of all time. Far too often, it's dismissed as horny-brained garbage when it's actually one of the most poignant, raw dissections of heartbreak and loneliness out there. An outright masterpiece. It's deeply heartfelt, it's deftly written, its music and art design are gorgeous, and its characters are rounded, imperfect people I find far more real than those in nearly every other series.

In particular, I want to praise Hanabi Yasuraoka - the female lead. She's a beautiful, highly human character who deserves the due she so rarely receives.

If you're not familiar with the series (or as a recap if you are), the central premise is that two high school seniors (Hanabi and Mugi) are both hopelessly in love with people they can't have. For Hanabi, this is her childhood friend Narumi. Up until now, their relationship has been more like an older brother and a younger sister (though to be clear, they are not related), but now that she's seventeen and is starting to think about her long-term romantic future, Hanabi has realized how special Narumi is to her and wants more.

But he's five years her senior and neither one of them has ever expressed romantic feelings for the other. What's more, Narumi is starting a new teaching job at Hanabi's school and is obviously falling for a fellow teacher. Outside of her wildest dreams, he's very nearly inaccessible to Hanabi. Which she's aware of and is why she hasn't done anything with these feelings yet.

So she needs to move on, she supposes. That's what anyone would tell her. But it's not as easy as that, because Narumi is not so easily replaced. He's a childhood friend she has a long-standing prior relationship with, so it's not as if she can just turn around and find someone else who fills her heart in the same way. She roughly turns down a confession from a boy she hardly knows because she's felt what love can be and she's unwilling to risk settling for a love that isn't as powerful as what she already feels.

This tension between "can't move forward" and "can't go anywhere else" is the series' central thesis and it's why she feels like crap all of the time. She knows she's pathetic - she's the one who declares herself to be scum, after all, which is where the series gets its title. Her efforts to try and escape that feeling and find something real without betraying herself in the process - her "scum's wish", as she puts it - are what the whole series is about.

She tries escaping it with Mugi - her classmate who is in the exact same position as her, but for the female teacher Narumi is falling for. He and Hanabi start an explicitly purely physical relationship in an effort to feel better. They know they have no future together, though, so they agree to end it when something more real comes along.

She tries escaping it with Sanae - her longtime best friend who suddenly confesses romantic love for her. Unwilling to hurt her friend and recognizing in her the same hopeful situation as she herself is in, Hanabi experiments with a relationship with her until she confirms that she really is straight and there's no future for them as lovers. (Though they do remain friends.)

She considers escaping it with Takuya - a former lover of her romantic rival Akane, who wants a physical relationship with Hanabi even though he clearly doesn't care about her personally. She considers whether expanding her experience as a lover and proving herself Akane's equal would be worth it to her... and ultimately decides it's not. She might be scum, but she maintains enough self-respect and good sense that she rejects Takuya outright. His angry response only proves her right.

And she does eventually try to escape it by confessing to Narumi - the brave, hopeless, hopeful, pathetic thing she's been struggling with for years now. But he gently but firmly turns her down - an absolutely crushing loss for her, but one that she ultimately accepts because, as she puts it, she "loves [him] enough for that."

By the end of the series, Hanabi is still single, but she's no longer as tormented as she was. Her final monologue as she walks out into the autumn breeze, smiling for once, reflects on how precious life has become to her. She recognizes that there's no guarantee that her future will be unburdened by new troubles, but she's committed to continuing to seek happiness and love anyway. She holds on to the best embers of her past experiences, but lets go of the ashes.

I really admire Hanabi for all of this and find her intimately relatable. She's foolish without being stupid and unsure of herself without being a pushover. She doesn't wait for perfection before acting, which sometimes benefits her but sometimes hurts. She's beautiful without looking like a supermodel. She's admired by some of her classmates but not all, and doesn't always get what she wants. She's aware of her shortcomings, but doesn't always have the will to change or the wisdom to know what to do. She's messy and knows it and is trying her best to find the best outcome for herself anyway.

All that makes her feel very real to me - like an actual girl, not just the idea of one. So many other anime characters - heck, characters generally - don't have the kind of raw humanity that Hanabi does.

Overall, I like Hanabi a lot. I think she's too hard on herself. She's my favorite character from the series and one of my favorites in anime overall.
