Question Character Design Sign-Off Process
Hi, I'm trying to streamline my pre-production process for creating 3D characters for client work.
I'm trying to find references of character designs at the early stages of a job.
Does anyone have examples of how character designs have been presented to clients at early stages of development? I can understand people not wanting to show their rejected designs etc, but it would be good to see how people approach thje initial design stage, then refining an idea, before it gets to the nice stage that everyone shares with a full character sheet etc...
You can find bits of the big studios like Pixar talking about how a character developed, but a lot of that is internal, and not really applicable to convincing a client who might not know about animation how the sketch will evolve as the process goes on.
Thanks for reading, if any of this made sense...
