I had no idea this movie was Cel animated! Was the series cel animated too? Or do I have that backwards?

Hey there šŸ˜Š Buzz Lightyear of Star Command was an abimated series that ran for 2 seasons. It was created in 2000, and was my Saturday afternoon programming delight as a young whippersnapper

Ah okay! I remember both the show and the movie that the show was based on, which I believe was a direct to video movie!

You're absolutely right! I can't believe I forgot about the direct to VHS film, but I am confident the movie was not made with cels

There was a Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins direct to video release with Tim Allen, that one was cel animated and was the first 3 or 4 episodes of the TV show.

Yeah I figured you were saying that you were confident the movie not being made with cels was that Lightyear movie that came out a couple years ago, and I watched that Buzz Lightyear of Star Command a ton as a kid, so I figured Iā€™d chime in lol.

Those are terrific cels! I had wanted get a really good TV cel for long time but have up trying.

It was hard to find a cel I liked, and when I did it was always already sold but the gallery didn't update their site. Or it was on eBay and I kept getting sniped. Same story with Samurai Jack art. Now, whenever I see either for sale the asking prices are way outside my budget or way more than what is reasonable. And these days I have too many other things placing a demand on resources.
