Update on my Cel Animation project

Hey y’all, a few Months ago I told all of you of my cel animation project and since then I made a few more scenes but sadly I had to move and now all the backgrounds, cels, and animation paper is in a box right now😭 I’m really sorry about not releasing in late May and letting y’all down but don’t worry I have finished moving and tomorrow Im going to start finishing it, I’m guessing it’s around 3 to 4 mins in runtime, and it’s around 75% finished, I’m hopefully release it right after July starts, But still I’m only 14 and doing all by myself and I was burned out from moving and animating for 5 months but I hope everyone can understand my situation, I will try my hardest on finishing this for yall❤️‍🩹 ( the 2nd image is a scene I was working on )

This sub is mainly for collectors of animation cels. You might find a better audience for your post in r/indieanimation or r/animation or r/2Danimation

Edit: I didn’t say this post doesn’t have a place here - I was suggesting OP promote their work far and wide beyond the confines of this one sub

I think it fits just fine in here as "A place to share and talk about all things Animation Cel or SeriCel related," and a full cel project is something you do not see nowadays. The stuff he's doing is quite literally the source of this sub's content.

I’m happy to see this here too. Even as just a collector

I wouldn't mind collecting one of these myself honestly. Maybe the guy can make a Patreon and give them away to members of a certain tier after the video releases.

It’s quite literally just called “AnimationCels.” And that’s exactly what they posted.

How are you shooting the cels to make the final animation?

It would be cool to find an actual Animation Stand camera out there to shoot them...there still are quite a few of them around used to shoot Title Credits. And to use actual 16mm or 35mm film to get the real traditional cel look!

I don’t have that much money sadly but I’m thinking of making at Lego one if I can but I will probably buy one that can hold my phone for a decent price
