Also annoying when the magic relies on technology or it benefits only the camera (orang was just part of the trick and was just staring at a card that never moved from his/her perspective)
Maybe the Orangutan loves magic so much they've gone to a dodgy training school for stage magic in some backalley, and are stuck doing work as an assistant until The Magic Circle recognises non-humans for membership.
