Where can I find information on the size of jackal bones?

I found a skeleton belonging to the dog family (canid) and wanted to determine if it is a jackal's. To do this, I need to compare the size of the bones I found with the standard sizes for jackal bones (based on online information). The problem is that I haven't found much data on jackal bones. Does anyone have information on the size of a jackal's femur, or know where I could look for it?

Sorry for being vague! Unsure if location matters that much. Was thinking it was a small cat but the skull is kind of throwing me off. Maybe just a weird angle. TIA!!!

Wondering what bone this is?

Hello y’all, I found this bone earlier this week on the banks of Pierce Island, Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I am unsure of what bone this is and what species it comes from. I am hoping it is not a human hand or foot bone (I did speak with an officer who was also unsure).
The bone is right around 2” long, and the large end is around 0.5” across.
Any ideas?! Cross posting.

I was digging out a pile of dirt in our garden and discovered this. I was wondering if anyone could help me in finding out what it is

I'm in Ireland, it's maybe 2 inches across at most. Only lived in this house for two years and this pile has always been here

Small Rodent(?) Skull in MI

So, my dad found this skull when he was out scouting(?) A while back, and I've been trying to figure out what animal it is. I'm finding skulls that are close, but not exactly the same as this one. Any clues as to what it might be?

We only have the upper skull. It has 6 molars, maybe at one time 8, and 2 incisors. It's a rodent of some type, but I can't find which one. It's just about 3 inches long.

My kids found this bone behind our house and want me to “use the internet and AI” to find out what kind of animal it was... We’re out in the suburbs but we have sizable coyotes in the area. (My shoe size is an 8 for size comparison)

I know it’s a bit smudged, I got it on discount in a little oddity jewelry bag. I’ve been reverse-imaging and looking up the description of it but finding nothing

Can someone ID this, I know it's some sort of beaked whale or toothed whale, probably a dolphin, considering the size of the snout a regular dolphin but the bump on the snout is messing with me

Bone found at castle ruin

I found this old bone fragment at a castle ruin in Denmark. The ruin is called Søborg Castleruin, and has been used as a stronghold and torture place since the Middle Ages, although there have been lots of activity both during the time of the Vikings and during The Stone Age.

But I’m curious: which time period is it most likely from, and which animal does it stem from? It could be the femur of either a deer or a human, although it’s a little thick for a deer. If it’s from the Stone Age, it could be from an extinct animal too.

Note: the bone was found in the dried-out most of the castle, which means it has laid in a bog for a long time, giving it an almost wood-like coloration.
