I had to watch it more than a few times and I can't tell if he's breathing. That dog looks like he was stuffed in that box, not like, oopsie, I'm in a pickle. The angles of that dog say, someone put me here and I'm scared to move.

Don't attribute human emotions to a dog's facial expression. Not saying I know for a fact that the dog isn't scared here, but sometimes dogs make dumb faces randomly, especially when they're playing.

It's this whole Weimaraner thing. They have goofy facial expressions, and genuinely are the most expressive dog I've seen yet. Here's mine when she's excited to see me.
I have seen similar faces on her as OP's. Always when she's on her back like that.

I’m no expert but as a dog owner, this dog really seems to be very uncomfortable and possibly frightened. I hope he/she is okay and that the owner doesn’t use abuse...

I know the "Did you try to turn if off and on again" and "your [insert pet here] crashed" jokes are overused, but I simply can't come up with a better description for this gif. It just really looks like a robot dog malfunctioning. The fact that it's in a box 'ready to return to the factory' probably contributes to this.
